LocY is a 23 year old singer songwriter and multinstrumentalist with spanish roots based in Bern (Switzerland). Composing and performing her music on stage has been her passion since she was 10 years old. In 2023 she started her journey as a solo artist with her Debut Single «Slow Down!». Her upcoming EP «DESPIERTA» will be released in Frebruary of 2027.
In her single “Slow Down!”, which she wrote and coproduced, she opens up about struggling with her perfectionism and not being able to be patient with herself. The Y in LocY represents her way of making music, which is merging all her experiences and inspirations and channeling them into one sound. This can range from a rock ballad, to smooth jazz aswell indie pop, but she doesn’t like to limit herself in genres. Her open and charismatic demeanor and catchy melodies invite the audience to dive into her music with her.
She is currently absolving her masters in Jazz Music Pedagogy under Mark Stücki at the HKB, wth Andreas Schäerer as her vocal mentor.
